Tech note:
Our crypto API handles BTC, LTC, ETH, BNB, EOS, XRP, XLM, and ERC20 tokens (LINK, GNS).
Your tasks:
- Maintenance of our crypto API (Python) which communicates with our trading platform’s backend and handles deposits and withdrawals on the blockchain: make sure that withdrawals and deposits work at all times, investigate problems related to the crypto API, etc.
- Maintenance of our crypto nodes (BTC, LTC, BTH) hosted on Digital Ocean: run updates and make sure they are up-to-date and working
- Set up ETH node on Digital Ocean and maintenance thereafter
- Possible new issuing of smart contracts or tokens (to be considered in the future – like issue a new token on Ethereum or Stellar)
- Advice and consulting on improving our crypto architecture: potential implementation of a new master wallet/hot wallet/cold wallet logic, possible implementation of measures to reduce transaction fees, security improvements like implement multisignature key transactions, etc.
- Prepare high level briefings (for management level to understand) with explanations on how the crypto API works, on what architecture is used, to assess the level of security, the pros and cons of different solutions, etc.
Your profile:
- You have previously worked in a professional blockchain team to develop some industry revolving solutions.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in developing blockchain/crypto solutions.
- You have strong knowledge of Python 3.
- Ability to work with JSON-RPC.
- Experience with frameworks such as Django / Flask.
- Experience of working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with Redis, Memcached, etc.
- Ability to write concise, scalable and high-performance code
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
- Work with Ethereum, Bitcoin nodes
- Understanding of Stellar, Ripple
- You have acquired knowledge in different areas of blockchain and eager to learn more every day.
- You have experience with ERC20 tokens and managed crypto nodes before.
- You are flexible and a team player.
