IT Asset Management Specialist

Requirements:
• University degree into IT or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in technology/ or working into similar role
• Good understanding of IT equipment
• Should have understanding of asset management policies, procedures and best practices
• Experience in data management, purchasing, and ticketing tools
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated
• Good communication skills
• Good planning skills
• Attentive and responsible

Desirable Skills:
• ITIL v3 or 4 foundation certified

Responsibilities:
• Analyze IT assets;
• Populate data into asset management tool;
• Ensure proper planning of the company needs of hardware and software licenses and equipment;
• Find reliable providers and manage procurement process;
• Ensure proper warranty terms;
• Ensure end of life cycle of all computer hardware and software license;
• Track assets throughout their life-cycle;
• Timely and accurate reconciliate of life-cycle data relating to program assets and the asset tracking system;
• Identify and report on potential issues with the asset tracking tool, supporting systems and inputs;
• Maintain process documentation;
• Assist customers in identifying issues, obstacles and alternatives for resolution;
• Provide advise on continual process improvements and operational efficiencies
