Senior Fullstack Laravel Engineer

The Role

We are actively looking for a new Full-time, Senior Fullstack Laravel Engineer based remotely to join our team. You will have the chance to work in a fast growing company which is following the latest trends to build its own digital marketplace platform. Your work will have a direct impact on the future success of our product and you will be expected to take on this opportunity and responsibility with .

• You will be reporting directly to our Head of Engineering
• You will be a key part of the Engineering team and will be working closely together with product managers and UX designers to conceptualize innovative solutions for our customers’ problems
• You will build scalable services in Laravel and take full ownership of your work from designing the solutions through to maintaining them on production
• You will contribute to the iterative evolution of the team’s working processes and support the development of the junior team members
• Based on your experience, there are opportunities for taking on further responsibilities, like DevOps (AWS, digitalocean, etc.)

Our Tech Stack - PHP (Laravel latest stable), Javascript (Jquery, Vue.js), Mysql, Redis, ElasticSearch, GIT, BitBucket, DigitalOcean, AWS, PHPUnit, Cypress.io, Docker, Bitbucket Pipelines, Datadog

What we are looking for

• Level SUPER STAR, you love shipping great products, not just writing excellent code
• Coding is your life - you understand that there is more that you don’t know than what you do know, so learning is the default state for you
• Understanding of good design principles and architectural patterns
• A pragmatic driver of excellence with a can-do attitude
• 5y+ commercial experience building scalable and highly reliable Laravel projects
• Mysql or equivalent 5y+
• HTML/CSS 5y+, SASS and less would also be good
• Javascript (any of the frontend frameworks - Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.) 3y+
• CI/CD
• TDD with knowledge of PHPUnit
• Docker
• Redis or equivalents
• You have to be in the CET or EET time zone

Nice to have

• Experience working as part of a remote team
• Experience of coaching and mentoring junior developers
• Understanding of and passion for XP & Craftsmanship
• Monitoring experience
• Devops experience
• E2E experience we are using cypress.io
• Vue.js experience
• ElasticSearch or equivalents
