Middle/Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are looking for an ambitious Middle+/Senior Ruby on Rails developer to make the step up and lead our engineering effort. And become a strong Lead!

We are a young team of entrepreneurs and want to find a like-minded individual passionate about bringing an amazing digital product into this world and growing personally along the way.

It's 4-month project

What you will do:
- Make all architectural decisions alongside the technical founder
- Establish a clear and effective development workflow including task allocation, coding standards, reviews, staging environments, deployment
- You will work alongside two developers, designer and the technical founder to execute on our roadmap
- Code the most vital parts of the service (background services - scrapers, e-mails, search, data structures)‍

Must haves:
- You don’t need to know about the industry but we will expect you to have done your research and be genuinely excited about taking this product to the next stage of its development.
- 5+ years of RoR experience, 2+ years in a managerial/architectural role
- Ability to think strategically about the codebase and build long-lasting solutions to immediate problems.
- RoR top gems (Devise, Pundit, Searchkick, Nokogiri), Sidekiq, ElasticSearch, Heroku

Nice to have:
- Experience creating stable scraping infrastructure
- CI/CD and RSpec expertise
- StimulusJS and willingness to learn Hotwire
