Role description
We are focused on creating a state-of-the-art, real-time, soft-body physics engine and making it widely available for entertainment and simulation purposes. Our most widely known product is our game BeamNG.drive, which is now available on Steam in Early Access.
In order to support our ongoing and future development plans, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with C++/Python knowledge, who can work independently, be entrusted with long-term development projects.
Responsibilities
-Support in implementing monitoring and alerting tools/solutions to create more visibility during the game release
-Spearhead and be the first point of contact for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving development blockages/issues
-Desire to automate repetitive tasks using a scripting or programming language
-Contribute and support the development of continuous integration
-Coordinate with our dev team and continuously develop scripts/tools
-Collaborate with the development team to make sure the release process goes smooth
-Maintain the documentation regarding configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures
About you
-Experience working and collaborating with development and QA teams
-Experience in working across the whole stack (C++/Lua)
-Experience in using Python and/or other scripting languages
-Proven experience in infrastructure management or automation
-Communicate and express your ideas & thoughts to other teams and stakeholders
-Ability to think critically, understand complexities, and support day-to-day workflow
-Excellent communication skills in English (Oral and written)
