Product Manager

We are looking for a motivated individual to join us in the first Product Management opening. You will be working hand in hand with our CTO in a highly exciting position, helping shape the future of our tech and applications used on a daily basis both by internal teams and by all our members.

The ideal candidate is a mix between a passionate tech builder and a business-savvy entrepreneur. The job will require getting your hands dirty. Depending on your profile, that can range from writing product specifications to be used by our development team, testing new features, documenting the most critical aspects of our product, even pushing code to production if you're up for it; all that in the fast-paced environment of a growing startup.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Drive product launches including working with marketing team, executives, and other product management team members
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Create support and training documents, documentation for internal and external users

Requirements

• Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web or mobile technologies
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
