Product Designer

We are planning to build out a suite of interactive dashboards, models and tools to complement our research into the fast moving digital asset and blockchain space. We’re looking for a product designer who can help us realize our strategy, by creating unique and insightful experiences around our research products. As an advocate for great user experience, this person will put themselves in the shoes of our users and take the product from high level vision through to UX wireframes, delivering something intuitive that will add value for the power users but not overwhelm the less experienced.

This role is a chance to push the edges of data design in one of the fastest moving and most innovative industries today. If you are not familiar with crypto projects it’s no problem, though having an interest and background in data, financial systems and digital assets would be beneficial.

About the role:

You will be working on greenfield projects to design and launch our real time report product where we’ll attempt to move the analysis space beyond static PDFs as well as other features such as members messaging where our community can share their own thoughts and analysis. You’ll work directly alongside our CTO and our small mixed discipline team of analysts, developers and a visual designer.

Delphi’s product is analysis in the digital asset market presented usually as PDFs. Your role will be to help translate that static experience into a dynamic and compelling interactive product.  Any tool we build should solve the following problems:

• Show users real-time versions of the charts presented in the report, to mitigate the issue of reports on time sensitive subjects going stale after some days
• Allow more advanced users to explore the data presented in more detail
• Make our analysts more efficient in producing subsequent versions of the report

The position primarily requires UX/UI wireframing skills, but also the ability to understand the business goals for the product and craft a best-in-class experience for our members. The position is open to full-time or part-time remote product designers based in the US, Europe or Latin America.

Requirements:

Perfect command of English (written and spoken)

Must have interest in blockchain or crypto projects and ideally be willing to be paid in some form of stablecoin such as USDC.

At this time a rolling monthly contract engagement is preferred but this could change over time. Full-time preferred or part-time is possible unless you already have a full-time job (no evenings and weekends workers).
