Full-Stack Developer

Who we are

We are a start-up with a small team looking to expand our developer resource. We are looking to recruit high calibre software engineers that are motivated and driven to achieve excellence in the work they produce. They need to be good team workers with the ability to learn and pick up new skills as the product evolves and develops.

We have already built the core platform with apps on iOS and Android. There is further work to be done on the platform, but the main tasks ahead is to add new features and functions, which may include integration with third-party services. User experience is a core objective that consists of Aesthetics/User journey and reliability of serves. Our technology stack is made up of a number of components which included GCP.

Skills & Requirements

• High level of proficiency with a front-end web framework like React/Vue/Flutter
• Experience building and deploying scalable server with Node/Express, lightweight Java servers, or similar
• Mobile development experience with a cross-platform framework a big plus
• Understanding of security best practices
• Bonus for experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Java, Dart, crypto
• Bachelor's degree in software field or equivalent experience
• English proficiency required

Who you are

• Ability to learn more important than experience with particular language or framework
• Knowledge and understanding of language-independent software concepts such as reuse, encapsulation, common design patterns

Our Stack

Our primary product is a mobile app built in flutter, which interacts through a bespoke rest-based API with our core server & other adjacent services. You will likely end up working on both ends of this at some point; we have lots of ideas lined up for our mobile app as well as work to improve our servers and add additional services. We also maintain a console for businesses to interact with our system, and will be undertaking work on a browser extension. You'll be able to work on whichever parts you feel most comfortable, and we'll introduce you to more parts of the system as you grow with us.
