Head of Operations

Looking for Head of Operation with blockchain experience

Responsibilities‍

Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team.
Design policies that align with overall strategy.
Implement efficient processes and standards for HR, finance, legal, IT, etc.
Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization.
Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders.
Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits.
Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement, while establishing processes that promote company efficiency, support company culture and values.
Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements‍

Proven experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director or similar leadership role
2 - 3 years experience in business operations in the blockchain/cryptocurrency space.
Proven track record in developing & implementing business systems development strategies to ensure the efficacy of the organization, with the ability to investigate new solutions.
Knowledge of information and technology-based solutions to integrate and streamline business systems.
Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions & principles, including payments, information security and employee management.
Ability to streamline & implement new structures & roles that create speed & efficiency to support rapidly shifting business demands.
Strong working knowledge of industry regulations & legislative guidelines.
Knowledge and experience of regulatory & compliance matters in the blockchain space.
Analytical skills with the ability to identify key points from complex material or information and lead on effective knowledge sharing.
Must have knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Experience of developing, maintaining & overseeing corporate key performance indicators.
You will be a responsible, hands-on leader with an analytical and strategic mind.
You must have outstanding negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Critical thinker with creative problem-solving skills.
Clear, effective, and creative communication.
Fluent English and German.

A Plus‍

Technical knowledge.
Understanding of the Polkadot ecosystem.
BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science or other relevant field
