LARAVEL (lead) developer for a Product Company

We are a small company with an international team working from different countries. Currently we are looking for a highly experienced Laravel (lead) developer. The profile we are looking for can demonstrate extensive knowledge in Laravel and has the ability to take on a leading role in the technical management of our websites. As you will be a key player in the technical strategy of the company the job can partly qualify as a CTO role.

Our websites are built in the Laravel framework with Vue.js in the frontend.

‍The candidate should identify with the following skills:

A good command of written and spoken English is a prerequisite as all our daily communication will be in English. We need to see extensive knowledge of Laravel. Therewith the candidate should be able to show completed projects in Laravel where he had end-responsibility. 

Furthermore we work with the following technologies for which we should see mastery to a degree from the candidate:

• A clear passion for Laravel ideally with over 7 years of experience working with this framework

• OOP, MVC, SOLID, Design Patterns, Git and REST APIs are your second nature
• SCSS and VueJS is the frontend preference.
• Integration Testing, Functional Testing and Unit Testing are central to our process
• We use DigitalOcean (Kubernetes) and Github Actions for hosting and CI/CD.
• MySQL 8 is our stateful database and Redis is used for caching, sessions and queues.
• Docker is our first step toward deployment.

The ideal candidate also has good understanding and demonstrable experience with DevOps and Kubernetes.

The job itself and the conditions

The position we have is a full time position and we are particularly looking for a candidate who works remotely.

As we work in the CET time zone the candidate should be able to adapt to a 9.30AM - 6PM western European schedule. However, we are always open to flexibility in this regard.

We offer 6K - 7K USD per month including 20 holidays and the ability to grow in salary according to performance and effectiveness. We can start with a 6-months period and once we are successful we can extend it to an indefinite period.

We are a publisher of casual dating-websites. We own a network of 7 websites in multiple countries and the number of websites is expanding.
