Senior DevOps Engineer AWS, Terraform, Site Reliability

Working closely with multiple cross functional product teams you help them automate, scale and ship as fast as possible. This will be across multiple areas: bioinformation’s pipelines, machine learning pipelines as well as more traditional web pipelines in the cloud using modern languages.

You will take ownership of projects and get to work on a cutting edge microservice architecture using serverless working with HUGE data (each DNA sample is 100GB…) to build a ground breaking lab testing as a service platform which is the first of its kind in the world. We built to ship, we ship fast and then we learn and iterate.

Essential skills:
-Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform)
-Cloud experience (AWS)
-Knowledge and interest in microservice architecture and serverless
-Can program in at least 1 language - not just script
-Happy on the command line

Low drama: Looks to resolve problems, not amplify them
Good knowledge of traditional Ops areas of expertise: Linux, Networking, VPNs
Up to date with latest technologies and keen interest in latest tech
Work as part of a focused team, but at the same time self-driven and able to work independently

Nice to have:
-Experience with other languages such as Python/PHP/JS etc
-Experience with big data
-Knowledge of machine learning tooling and packages
-Experience working on high scalability websites
-Have worked with health data
