WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASK

For teaching purposes, we want to develop a mobile web app quiz-game. You will be responsible for the whole development of this interesting project and have freedom to work and decide about a lot of aspects:

MOBILE WEB APP QUIZ — SOMETHING LIKE KAH.OOT «LIGHT»:

Details: We are looking for self-reliant people who want to work in a small team. You will be responsible to develop on your own a «light» version of something like kah.oot quiz app. The main features of this app are that quizzes can be done very easily and without registration processes. Also, there will be not only standard quiz questions, but also interactive videos.

The goal is that car driving teachers can select pre-existing quiz questions or develop their own one to a certain topic.

LOGIN PROCEDURE:

Login shall be done automatically by an address www.mypage.com/classNr, so it remembers every time the users name and data. It should be very, very, very easy for the customers, they should not need to register. but it still should be legal. You will have to do research of what type of saving information is legal and which not.

CONTEST:

There should be the possibility that users register for a contest: they enter their mail address and then do some additional quiz questions.

Mechanisms should be implemented to avoid cheating

VIDEOS SHOULD BE PLAYED AND CLICKED AT THE SAME TIME:

One difficult part will be that in classrooms with mobile phones (not over Wi-Fi connection, but over mobile connection!!!), people will have some video-tasks.

The Videos will be presented on the teachers Computer, and people on their mobile have to click within a certain time range. The delay of these clicks shall not be bigger than 100ms. So that means you’ll have to calculate Latency from students to teachers pc.

In the end, values of students have to be transmitted to the teachers pc, and then the whole classes values should be visualized automatically at teachers pc.

DIFFERENT ANIMATED QUIZ QUESTIONS:

You will copy the codes of the videos and 360 questions.

QUIZ-EDITOR:

You will make a simple-to-use quiz editor, where quiz questions can be written.

Teachers will be able to select questions or make a new question.

MOBILE FIRST!

Videos and everything has to be played on mobile

If people are not in a classroom setting, the videos will be displayed on their phones. If they are in the classroom, the videos will be displayed only on the teachers pc.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Different Languages (German, French, Italian, English)
• Good-looking interface
• Very, very, very simple-to-use interface (kahoot is still too complicated)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Full Stack Developer (JS, PHP)
• Programming experience: two years or more (the more, the better)
• English skills: speech and written
• Clean Code!!! No mess!
